Biodiesel from Algae Science Project?
I am doing a research project on creating biodiesel from algae and need some pointers on getting started. What I do know is that I am going to be using flue gas (from a local power plant) and the algae strain scenedesmus. I just need some tips on growing and getting it started and pressing it as well.

I am also doing a algae biofuel project.
Researching things related to algae can be quite difficult. A lot of it is proprietary or unsure. I suggest looking into different photobioreactors (open or closed). In regards to pressing: expeller, supercritical fluid extraction and hexane are methods being experimented with. Oilgae.com is a great site to start off with.
