Because of this, biodiesel may be used within diesel engines without all of the other expensive alterations to the fuel system or engine.</description>

		<description>methanol is sold hardware stores as it is a paint solvent.  Methanol is the cheapest.

95% pure ethanol is called everclear in liquor stores.

I would think that using methanol or isopropyl alcohols would be poisionous.</description>

		<description>um not sure about the teetotalers part but you can run a diesel engine off of pure vege oil provided you heat it before it hits the engine (to improve the viscosity) there are several groups of small companies making such devices and selling them on line. all you have to do once it's installed is filter the free oil you acquire and add it to your tank. viola! no nasty chemicals to deal with</description>
