Making Biodiesel?
I tried making biodiesel with vegetable cooking oil, I have followed the instructions carefully and everything seemed to work but the problem is after waiting for 12 hours I can’t see the glycerine separating from the oil, what could be the problem that caused this?
I’m trying to test this on cooking oil first since that vegetable oil too right? I’m testing if it will work there first because I’m afraid I’ll ruin/wasting the jatropha oil I’ll be using for my study (Its so hard to find seeds of the plaant)

I’m not sure about any processed oil being of any use to you for your experiment. But if you wanted to make your own oil using a seed with high oil content it would add a step to your process but might allow you to save your expensive oil until your sure of the process. I would be curious to know what steps are used to create biodiesel. I know how to make ethenol but the side affects are off putting.
Biodiesel has a by product that good ka-boomie! Don’t mess with it.
Trying taking some crude oil. Vegetable cooking oil is refined and so you are not getting any separation. If you have jatropa plants growing nearby, try extracting the seed oil and purify biodiesal.
